Trio Gemelli made its debut in Madrid in 1994 and since then has given a series of successful concerts both in the UK and in continental Europe. The Trio gave its first London performance when chosen to take part in the Park Lane Group Young Concert Artists Series on the South Bank in 1997; for this performance the Trio commissioned a new work by Fraser Trainer, Hammers, Levers and Strings. It made a highly acclaimed Wigmore Hall debut in 1997 and commissioned and premièred the new work by Hugh Wood at the Cheltenham International Music Festival. Trio Gemelli has recorded the music to several BBC TV documentaries and has appeared on BBC Radio 3 and 4.
