The singers on the 'Cantica Sacra' recording are all former members of the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge, with whom they sang under the direction of Graham Ross as Choral Scholars and Choral Exhibitioners whilst studying various academic degrees at the University of Cambridge.
The Choir of Clare College sing together in the College Chapel three times a week during the academic term [US=semester], and undertake an extensive schedule of external concerts, broadcasts, recordings and touring each year, which has seen the Choir perform around Europe, the USA, the Far East and Australia and, since 2011, record exclusively for Harmonia Mundi USA. After graduation many singers pursue further study and enter the music profession.
The choir members are:
Stefan Kennedy and Alexander Walmsley (tenors)
Jack Lawrence-Jones and James Proctor (baritones)
Joshua Pacey and Christopher Webb (basses)
