TWO
GENEVIEVE LACEY (recorder), POUL HØXBRO (tar)

Genevieve Lacey, a young Australian recorder player has been acclaimed by reviewers as "world class" and "one of Australia's great musicians". Poul H°xbro now focuses his talents on resurrecting medieval percussion instruments and here, on some tracks, plays the Andean hand drum known as a Tar. Together, they present a unique programme of traditional Irish folk melodies, baroque virtuosity, contemporary Australian works and medieval dance music.

The CD booklet features the wonderful visual artistry of Laura Rytter Holm.
